What was I thinking?

So after a long time of my husband and children begging me to get another cat, (and my Mom working on me) I finally relented and we got two. Rufus and Raina, two black and white kittens that were half off at CAT adoption center because nobody wants black cats. Nana and Papa actually bought them as a Christmas present. We are now back to 3 cats, including our 11 year old kitty Charlotte. 3 kids, 3 cats, and 3 fish. Why did I say yes to any of those? It's pretty crazy what Steve talks me into. But it usually works out well in the end. Here's hoping the latest additions don't ruin the few remaining items the kids haven't managed to destroy. They are kinda cute!

If you are in the Portland area and looking to adopt, CAT Adoption Team is awesome! They are the Pacific Northwest’s largest nonprofit, no-kill cat shelter with its own full-service veterinary Hospital onsite. When you adopt a cat they come already micro-chipped, spayed/neutered, vaccinated and tested for all sorts of problems. They make it really easy. There are always kittens, but they have many adult kitties that would love a good home. They come in as strays or people give them up after divorces, or just decide they don't want a cat anymore. How sad. The adult cats are already house trained and senior cats are half-price. I was pushing for an adult cat, but my husband insisted the girls needed to experience kittens.
